Platboom Beach

Cape Point Nature Reserve
Cape Peninsula

About this place

One of the most deserted and wild beaches in the area—white sand, massive dunes, turquoise water, and often no one else around. You might spot ostriches or baboons. It's remote (inside the reserve, so entry fee applies), but the isolation makes it magical. The dunes are perfect for sandboarding.
